Two next-generation shallow-draft jack-up offshore support platforms — JANA506 and JANA507 — have officially departed from Qingdao Haixi Heavy Machinery Terminal, en route to Saudi Arabia. Built under a general contracting model by China Shipbuilding Group’s Wuhan Marine Machinery, these platforms are purpose-built to serve oilfields in the shallow waters of the Persian Gulf, with a fully loaded draft of just 2 meters.

NSO proudly led the design and outfitting of the living quarters on JANA506, delivering a premium onboard experience for up to 120 crew members across four decks. The fully furnished spaces include:
